LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS

God has uniquely gifted you with an abundance of something. Whatever it is, it’s not for you. Your art, your love, your strategic mind or financial abundance; it’s not for you to hoard for yourself. Remember, it’s not about you. It’s needed somewhere for someone.

Don’t be afraid of freely gifting on because the One who gave you that gift will continuously fill your well to overflowing.

There may be imitations, but none can match the genuineness of your gift. They can try to steal your gift and its qualities but that can never be if you freely give it while the Spirit so continuously pours into you afresh and anew. You are unparalleled because your Maker knit you together like none other in your mother’s womb. You were carefully, strategically, and wonderfully made with every praise worthy accent and detail that God owns.

Now with those gifts of abundance, so excellently designed in you, be a Light in the Darkness as you give.

There are 2 trees symbolized. One quite barren, disjointed with uncharacteristic shapes hidden in a place of stagnation. This tree symbolizes all who are called and do nothing with the gifts God has given them.

The other tree is bright and flourishing. It’s side is promising. It has a light amongst the darkness and it follows that light, hence remains full and lit amongst the darkness.

Where there is hate,

Bring and be love.

Where there is pain and suffering,

Bring hope.

Where there is sadness,

Bring comfort and joy.

“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”

Proverbs 11:25

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms."

1 Peter 4:10

"For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ."

2 Corinthians 4:6
